The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad offers excursions from 3 different locations in both New Mexico and Colorado. Chama NM and Antonito CO offer excursions along the full length of the line which is 64 miles. The full length round trip 6 hour plus excursions run the train in 1 direction with a bus taking you back to your beginning point. These locations also offer shorter 4 hour round trip excursions. Cumbres Pass has a 4 hour round trip excursion from Cumbres Pass to Osier station with a 90 minute lunch layover before boarding the train and heading back. There are also a few specialty excursions such as the Dark Sky Train and geology trains from both Charma and Antonito.
