The Meridian Railway Museum is located in an old freight station and Railway Express Agency building. It was built in 1906 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum includes a trio of retired rolling stock, including a caboose from the nearby Meridian & Bigbee shortline and exhibits on local rail history.
