The Georgetown Loop Railroad offers a 4 mile 1 hour and 15 minute narrow gauge train ride through Clear Creek Canyon and passes over the Devil’s Gate High Bridge. The Loop excursion can be boarded at either the Georgetown or the Silver Plume depots and would be round trip back to your starting point. The railroad also has mining tours that can be purchased separately or as a package. The Georgetown Loop Railroad has quite a few special event excursions including Evening Trains, Fall Colors Train, PumkinFest, AutumnFest, Trick or Treat Train, Santa’s Lighted Forest and Santa’s Rocky Mountain Adventure.
