The Black River and Western Railroad offers 2 excursions, the Historic Tour and Train Ride which boards at Ringoes Station and travels to Flemington where there is a guided tour of Flemington’s railroad historical sights. The other is the Black River Express which has roundtrip departures from both stations and is the ride only. There is a museum in a Baggage Car next to the Ringoes Station showcasing the history of railroading in Hunterdon County and the volunteers that keep it running. They also have themed excursions including Easter Bunny Express, Hunterdon Wine Express, Pumpkin Train, and Santa Express.
