The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum has quite a few excursions to choose from. The 65 minute journey through Chattanooga on the Missionary Ridge Local Train Ride allows visitors to see a live turntable demonstration, a pre civil war tunnel and historic bridges. There are longer excursions such as the Summerville Steam Special, The Copperhill Special, The Chickamauga Turn, and the Hiwassee Loop Train. There are also a few special dinner trains and even a dinner at the depot with a train ride afterwards. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum also has streaming cameras setup by Virtual Railfan.
