At MD&I Trains we love all trains, railroad museums and most railroad themed activities and events.
For years we have been visiting, railroad museums, riding scenic railroads, going to model train shows and events. Our passion is for the steam era but at the end of the day we simply love trains and railroads in general. Over the years we are finding tourist trains pulled by steam becoming harder to locate but not impossible.
We have visited many scenic railroads and museums on our vacations. Typically we will pick an area and day trip to as many as we can that our time allows. The lists on the following pages were created based on some of our experiences and to help plan new ones.
